Then we saw the zoo on Sunday. Lots of animals were active. We saw some hyenas fighting each other, and got to fee the Lorikeets. Here is some footage from the feeding. We had a blast doing it.

Vaughn Feeding the Birds
Vaughn and I got to do a sleepover at the San Antonio zoo this weekend with his Cub Scout pack. We got to see the zoo at night when the zoo was closed. Several of the nocturnal animals were out. We got to dissect an owl "pellet," which is basically a hairball that they cough up. It had several bones from small animals that we identified.
